The service
KORVAN Shield runs a passive check of a public hostname and shows a score, counts, and one problem on a shareable page. The full problem list is emailed only after you submit an address.
Not a penetration test
The check reads public DNS, certificates, and pages. It does not prove that a store is safe, complete, or compliant. It is not an engagement to break in.
Using the scan
You may submit a public hostname. The check does not need a password and it does not change the site. Do not use the form to probe addresses that are not public hostnames. The limit is five scans an hour from one network.
The result URL
The result page is visible to anyone with the link. Do not treat the link as private correspondence.
Plans and prices
App prices shown on the pricing page are read from the product config and are listed in USD. This website does not take payment. A Shopify charge exists only inside the installed app, which is a later milestone.
The Shopify app
The control labeled Install the free app opens a listing URL only when that URL is configured. A missing listing is stated on the page. It is not a published KORVAN listing unless the URL says so.
No warranty
The scan can miss problems, misread a record, or fail. A grade is the output of the published scoring config. It is not a certificate.
Liability and governing law
This draft does not set a liability cap, a venue, or a governing law. Counsel has to add those before the text is used as a contract.
